He was the father of Breanna Helton of Manchester, Kentucky, Abigail Helton of Corbin, Kentucky, Heather Meade and husband Jason of Berea, Kentucky and Joseph Helton of London, Kentucky; the brother of Wayne Helton of Corbin, Kentucky, Eugene Helton of Paintsville, Kentucky, Randall Helton of South Carolina, Sharon Smithers of Ohio, Debbie Philpot, Patricia Hensley, Lora Woods and Larry Helton all of London, Kentucky. He was blessed with one grandchild, Paisley Brielle Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Charlotte (Davis) Helton and by his siblings Brenda Maxey and Michael Helton. Funeral services for Wendell Joe Helton will be conducted Monday June 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Delph Cemetery. The family of Wendell Joe Helton will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday June 27, 2022. Serving as pallbearers will be; Jason Meade, Chris Helton, Travis Helton, Rocky Farler, Brian Helton, Sterling McDonald, Vernon Maxey and Robert Helton.
