William Harold Grimes, Jr, age 67, of London, Kentucky passed away on April 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by family. Harold is survived by his wife of 48 years, Andrea (Johnson) Grimes, his mother Ella Lee Grimes of London, Kentucky, his three children Bridget Irvine (Chris), Rebecca Fields, and Matthew Grimes (Laura) all of London, Kentucky, and his grandchildren Brittani Meier (Cody) of Lexington, Kentucky, Collin Irvine, Taryn Fields, Toby Fields, Tyra Fields, Lucas Grimes and Landon Grimes of London, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father William Harold Grimes, Sr. Harold was a Deacon at Hart Baptist Church where he taught the senior men's Sunday School class. He was the owner of Grimes Construction . Harold was known for his hard work, witty since of humor and loved spending time with his family, church family, in the garden, at a camp site, and on a lake fishing. Private services for William Harold Grimes, Jr. were conducted in London Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Terrell Bradley officiating. A celebration of life for William Harold Grimes, Jr. will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Hart Baptist Church.
