William H. Hamm, age 71, husband of Karen (Hart) Brown of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Sunday January 13, 2019 at Baptist Health Corbin. He was the father of Bryan Hamm of Jupiter, Florida; Jeremy Hamm of Richmond, Kentucky; and Billie Meddings of Cross Lanes, West Virginia. He was the son of Nancy Jo (Hayes) Hamm of Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He was the step-father of Aaron Hicks of Tallahassee, Florida, Cecelia Hicks and Johnny Lorne Brown both of Corbin, Kentucky. He was also blessed with several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dean Hamm; by his brother, Robert Hamm. Memorial services for William H. Hamm will be conducted Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel. The family of William H. Hamm will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.Read Obituary

Dear Karen and family:
We are so sorry to hear about Bill's death. We cannot believe what has happened to this family. My wife has known them all her life and i have for over 50 years. Bill has always been such a kind hearted compassionate and loving person. He worried more about others than he did himself. We will always remember his thoughtfulness and gentle spirit We know that this will be so hard to get through this, but we pray that God will carry you through in his loving arms and that he will comfort you in a way that no one else can. We want you to know that even though we aren't able to be there we will be in constant prayer for you and the family. We also want you to know that there are many in Point Pleasant that are holding you up in prayer. It is our loss down here on earth but it is Heaven's gain.
