William "Bill" Lewis

William “Bill” Lewis, age 81, husband of 58 years, 10 months, and 21 days of Bonnie Ann (Harding) Lewis of London, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his residence. He was the father of Pauline Lewis and David, William Boyd Lewis, Carolene Reed and husband Robert, Darlene Dean and husband William, John Edward Lewis, and Donna Baker and husband Johnny all of London, Kentucky. He was also blessed with nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Charity (Gambrell) Lewis; by his granddaughter, Ashley Nache Lewis; and by his siblings, Ruby Cox, Goldie Mitchell, Belva Clontz, Dorothy McQueen, and June Chestnut.Funeral services for William “Bill” Lewis will be conducted Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Baker and Rev. Johnny Ray Benge officiating. Burial will follow at Owsley Cemetery. The family of William “Bill” Lewis will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.Serving as pallbearers will be: Jonathan Dean, Wesley Dean, Payton Lewis, Tyler Murray, Chris Truett, and Michael Paul Lovins.In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expense.Read Obituary
