Addie Philpot

Addie Philpot, age 70, of London, Kentucky passed away Monday February 4, 2019 at her residence. She was the mother of Amanda Gentry and husband Shawn of London, Kentucky; the sister of Faye Edwards of Richmond, Kentucky, Mattie Brown of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and Marie Hayre of Manchester, Kentucky; the grandmother of Whitney Philpot, Valerie Philpot, Hunter Hodge, and Jordan Grubb all of London, Kentucky; the great grandmother of Presley Philpot and Kayston Philpot. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Philpot; by her parents, Cecil Murphy and June (Mills) Murphy; by her son, John Philpot; by her granddaughter, Brittany Philpot; and by her siblings, Helen Murphy, Betty Murphy, James Murphy, and Hurley Murphy. She was a member of Freedom United Baptist Church and a Special Needs Assistant for the Laurel County Board of Education. Funeral Services for Addie Philpot will be conducted Friday February 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Philpot officiating. Burial will follow at Philpot-Bernard Cemetery. The family of Addie Philpot will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM on Thursday February 7, 2019. Pallbearers will be Kenny Philpot, Shawn Gentry, Bowen Dixon, Josh Murphy, Aaron Brown, Eric Philpot, and Earl Wayne Philpot.Read Obituary
