Cloyd Smith, Jr., age 82, of Manchester, Kentucky passed away Wednesday February 6, 2019 at Bluegrass Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was the father of Mike Smith and wife JoAnn of Georgetown, Kentucky; the brother of Jolena Sizemore and husband Sheridan, Ruby Sams and husband Reubin, Lula Davidson and husband Stanley, Ronnie Smith and wife Martha Ann all of Manchester, Kentucky and Willie Gene Smith and wife Teresa of Southgate, Michigan. He was also blessed with one grandson, Colton Smith of Raleigh, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue (Thomas) Smith; by her parents, Farris and Rose (Gray) Smith; by his siblings, Christilene Caudill, Lizzie Marie Hoskins, and Amel C. Smith. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Manchester, Kentucky. Funeral services for Cloyd Smith, Jr. will be conducted Sunday February 10, 2019 at 2:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. The family of Cloyd Smith, Jr. will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM on Saturday February 9, 2019. Serving as pallbearers are Hansford Sams, Trevor Sams, Tim Sizemore, Cory Collins, Colby Henson, Rick Sizemore, Matthew Davidson, and Colton Smith.Read Obituary

So sorry to hear about Cloyd's passing. I worked with Betty at SLMS and they were such a sweet loving couple. I know they are having a happy reunion. Prayers for his family.
