Florence James

Florence James, age 82, of London, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. She was the mother of Charlotte James Trebolo, and Ronnie James and wife Sherre all of London, Kentucky, and Vicki James Robinson of Richmond, Kentucky; the sister of Jefferson McQueen, Jr., of Bloomington, Indiana; the grandmother of Christina Smith, Walter Trebolo III, Shaina James Brandenburg, Melissa Tackett, Jerry Rookard, and Robert Rookard; the great grandmother of Jeremy Evans, Dalton Gilbert, Christis Brandenburg, Bryson Tackett, Braden Tackett, Taylor Smith, Abigail Brandenburg, Makayla Trebolo, Gabriella Trebolo, and Dylan Trebolo; the great great grandmother of Dawson Evans. She was preceded in death by two children, Nina G. James and Ernie Lee James; by her parents, Jefferson Thomas McQueen and Eliza F. (Shelton) McQueen; by her siblings, Harrison McQueen, William McQueen, Walter McQueen, Earl Lee McQueen, Albert McQueen, Carl McQueen, Willie Lee McQueen, Little Baby McQueen, Elbert McQueen, Ruby Prow, and Katherine Harden. Funeral services for Florence James will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Daniel McFeeters and Bill Davis officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Florence James will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the service time on Friday. Serving as pallbearers are: Walter Trebolo, Jeremy Evans, Dalton Gilbert, Bryson Tackett, Matthew Tackett, Paul Brandenburg, Jerry Rookard, and Robert Rookard.Read Obituary
